Isaiah 6:9-12 KJV

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. [10] Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. [11] Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, [12] And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

We invite you to express a heart-searching prayer for America in the upcoming book, My Prayer to the Father for America, in Jesus’ Name.

As Isaiah was told by God the actual state of Israel and the heart of the people, He is also speaking to each of His children – if we would listen. It was the deepest level of spiritual apostasy and political evil during Isaiah’s day for God’s people that demanded desperate action.  In fact, it was so dire that God Himself had to intervene. He did so by choosing Isaiah and anointing him. His choosing would open Isaias’s eyes to see the true condition of the heart of God’s people and the nation.

In God’s providence, perhaps you have been chosen to discern your place and seek God’s heart for a prayer that will tear at the heart of God’s people and America. A prayer that will touch the heart of God to show mercy upon our nation.

As you discern God’s heart in this calling, please follow the protocol that we have received from Jehovah for this book of prayers.

It is to be and stay on a spiritual plane.

While we must address our nation’s political and spiritual arenas, we are not to name individuals. You may address leaders as righteous or evil, but do not use their names. Allow their fruit to identify them for who they are. The reason should be apparent; however, we mustn’t allow the emphasis to be on personality. The ultimate enemy is satan, and the sole Savior is Jesus. Also, if we name a person, they become the emphasis and will only serve to distract people from hearing the heart of each prayer and to see themselves as to where their own heart is with God

Pray before you pray.

Searching your heart before submitting your prayer to the book should be a given. Repentance of our own sins creates an authentic space for God to use us to pray for the sins of our nation. It must be a prelude to all prayer if we expect God to hear ours for others. As we see how Isaiah recognized and confronted his sins by repenting, may we humbly follow his example with confidence, knowing that God will also hear our prayer.

Isaiah 6:5-9 KJV

Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. [6] Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: [7] And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. [8] Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. [9] And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

Please read Isaiah chapters 1-6.

The Lord is speaking in describing the conditions of Israel. It is impossible not to see how this describes the state of America. Should you submit your interest below, you agree to what has been shared on this page and recognize that God has chosen you to utter a prayer that meets this standard.
